Everything about Shipping
How are shipping costs calculated ?
Shipping Champagne requires a lot of precautions. As the weight of a bottle is high, the shipping cost may seem significant, but it reflects the logistical reality: 6 bottles of Champagne weigh 11 kg!
Our costs include:
- The use of reinforced cartons with specific cushioning to avoid breakage.
- Insurance included in case of damage or loss.
Transport issues are extremely rare and are always resolved to your full satisfaction.
Tips to reduce your costs
Reminder: 1 Magnum = 2 Bottles
1. Orders of less than 36 bottles
If you order bottles only:
We strongly advise you to order a multiple of 6 or 12 bottles. This allows to fill the cartons perfectly and optimize the shipping price per bottle.
If you mix Bottles and Magnums:
Attention, this may increase costs. Why?
• Bottles travel in cartons of 6 or 12.
• Magnums travel in cartons of 1 or 4.
Result: This requires sending several separate packages = higher shipping costs.
2. Orders of more than 36 bottles
From this volume, delivery is made on a secure pallet by a specialized carrier.
The advantage: You can mix your order with bottles and magnums without extra cost linked to packaging.
