Tasting advice
To sublimate our champagnes. Above all, do not open one of your bottles as soon as they are transported, even if they are fresh. Champagne must rest for at least a week before being tasted.
How to store it?
Flat at 10 to 13 ° C, without drafts. Protected from light.
Temperature
Champagne should be drunk chilled: 7 ° C - 9 ° C. for young champagnes (Tradition). Rather 12-13 ° C for the older ones.
The glasses
The ideal is the champagne flute that you have to hold by the foot. This way, the Champagne will stay cool, and your hand will not heat the glass. Ban dishwashing products and the dishwasher. It is the defects and the dust in your glasses that trigger the bubbles!
Should Champagne be allowed to age?
Don't wait years to drink your bottles. Unlike some wines, Champagne will not gain in quality after waiting any longer. It's ready to drink right out of the cellar! Once opened, to keep the effervescence, the only method is the "champagne stopper to clip".
